Free Kirby Amigurumi Pattern!

After much anticipation, my Kirby amigurumi pattern is finally here! Originally, I planned to include 10+ Super Smash Bros. hat variations (like Link Kirby, Mario Kirby, Wario Kirby, etc.) to celebrate Kirby’s Epic Yarn, but I got a little distracted—oops! 😅 For now, you’ll get the base Kirby pattern plus Mario & Peach hats—but if you create your own SSB-inspired Kirby, send me pics & patterns and I’ll share them (with credit)!

Materials & Notes

  • Hook: 3.5mm (working in both loops)
  • Details: Eyes/mouth are painted wool felt (glued on), blush is light paint. Embroidery works too!
  • Stitches Used: SC, SL ST, INVDEC, INC, DC, TC

Head & Body (Mod Pink)

  1. Start (Magic Ring/CH 2): SC x6 (6)
  2. INC x6 (12)
  3. (SC, INC) x6 (18)

  4. INVDEC x6 (6), finish & sew closed.

Flippers (x2, Mod Pink)

    … (lightly stuff & attach!)

Feet (x2, Red)

BONUS HATS!

  • Super Mario Hat: Starts with 6 SC, increases to 42 sts, shaped brim.
  • Peach Crown: CH15 loop, SC/DC/TC peaks.
