This stitch pattern is worked over a multiple of 6 stitches + 4.
- Row 1 (RS): K2, yo, sk2p, yo, k3; repeat from to last 2 sts, k2.
- Rows 2 and 4 (WS): P2, p4, k1, p1; repeat from to last 2 sts, p2.
- Row 3: K2, k1, p1, k4; repeat from to last 2 sts, k2.
- Rows 5 and 11: Knit.
- Rows 6 and 12: Purl.
- Row 7: K2, k3, yo, sk2p, yo; repeat from to last 2 sts, k2.
- Rows 8 and 10: P2, p1, k1, p4; repeat from to last 2 sts, p2.
- Row 9: K2, k4, p1, k1; repeat from to last 2 sts, k2.
Repeat Rows 1-12 for pattern.
Muted Bloom Blanket Pattern Instructions
Main Body
- Cast on 166 sts.
- Setup Row (WS): Purl.
- Work even in Bee Eyelets until piece measures 37″, ending having just worked a WS Row 6 or 12.
- Bind off all sts.
Edging
- With RS facing and longer circular, beginning at bottom right corner, pick up and knit 3 sts to every 4 rows along the edges, 2 sts in each corner, and 1 st to every bound off or cast on st along the ends. Do not join in the round, break yarn.
- On left hand needle with RS facing, cast on 6 sts using knitted cast on. Note: Edging will be applied clockwise around Blanket.
- Row 1 (RS): K1, k2tog, yo, k2, yo, k1.
- Row 2 (WS): K1, [k1, p1] into yo from previous row, p2tog, yo, k2, purl last st together with 1 st from Blanket.
- Row 3: K1, k2tog, yo, k5.
- Row 4: Bind off 2 sts, p2tog, yo, k2, purl last st together with 1 st from Blanket.
- Repeat Rows 1-4 until all picked up sts from the Blanket have been worked together with the Edging, then work 1 RS Row and bind off all sts.
Finishing
- Seam ends of Edging together.
- Weave in ends.
