Materials You’ll Need
- Plush yarn 100gr/120m green color
- A little white, yellow, and black yarn for embroidering the bee
- Any thin yarn for the flower (I used Pekhorka Detskaya Novinka)
- Thread for embroidering the mouth
- Glue-on eyes 8mm
- Stitch marker
- Stuffing material
- Tapestry needle
- Crochet hook of a suitable size for your crocheting density (I crocheted with a 3.75 Clover hook, and for the flower, a 2.75 Clover hook)
Abbreviations
- Ch – Chain stitch
- Sc – Single crochet
- Inc – Increase
- Dec – Decrease
- Popcorn stitch – For the lower legs and eyes, crochet 4dc (double crochet) into one stitch and with one top; for the upper legs, 3dc into one stitch with one top.
- Sl st – Slip stitch

Crochet Pattern Instructions
The frogs are crocheted in one piece starting from the bottom, stuffing at the end of crocheting.
Body-Legs-Head
Make 4 chain stitches, starting from the 2nd stitch from the hook:
1. Increase, Single crochet, Increase of 3-Single crochet, 2 Single crochet (8 stitches)
2. Increase, into one stitch crochet (Single crochet, make 7 chain stitches, starting from the 2nd stitch from the hook crochet POPCORN STITCH, 5 Single crochet, slip stitch into the front loop of the base stitch (this is the first lower leg crocheted), Single crochet), Single crochet, Increase (again crochet a leg: 7 chain stitches, POPCORN STITCH, 5 Single crochet, and slip stitch into the front loop of the base stitch), 2 Increases, Single crochet, Increase. (14 stitches)
3. 3 Single crochet before the leg, 4 Single crochet between the legs, 7 Single crochet after the leg to the end of the row. (14 stitches)
4 – 6. 14 Single crochet (14 stitches) – 3 rows
7. 4 Single crochet, crochet a leg: make 5 chain stitches, starting from the 2nd stitch from the hook POPCORN STITCH, 3 slip stitches and slip stitch into the front loop of the base stitch, 5 Single crochet, leg, 5 Single crochet (14 stitches)
8 – 10. 14 Single crochet (14 stitches) – 3 rows
11. 2 Decreases, (crochet the eyes) POPCORN STITCH, 2 Decreases, POPCORN STITCH, 2 Decreases (8 stitches)
12. 4 Decreases (4 stitches) cut the yarn, secure it and close the hole of the last row.
Finishing Touches: The Bee and Flower
Glue on the eyes for your frog. To embroider the bee: make 3-4 stitches with yellow yarn, on top add 2 stripes with black yarn, and embroider the wings with white yarn.
To crochet the flower: make 6 Single crochets in a magic ring, slip stitch, then make 4 chain stitches and slip stitch into the next stitch. Repeat this sequence (4 chain stitches and slip stitch into the next stitch) a total of 6 times. Cut the yarn, secure it, and attach it to the frog.
