Abbreviations
This pattern is written in US crochet terms.
- sc: single crochet
- inc: increase (crochet 2 sc in the same stitch)
- dec: decrease (crochet 2 sc together)
- (…) * N: repeat the instructions in parentheses N times
- (X): total number of stitches in the round
Gauge
Gauge is not critical for this project. However, ensure your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing does not show through the fabric. Use the appropriate hook size for your yarn and tension to achieve a clean look.

Assembly

1. Head to Body: Sew the head to the body at approximately a 45-degree angle so it is looking slightly upwards.
2. Ears: Fold the ears into a “teardrop” shape at the base. Sew them to the head at eye level, about 2 rows down from the start of the white plush yarn.
3. Arms and Legs: Sew the arms to the body, about 1 row down from the head seam. Sew the legs to the body, about 4 rows up from the bottom. When attaching, make sure the “step” from the color change on each limb is facing the back so it is not visible.
4. Secure Limbs: To prevent the arms and legs from sticking out, use the sewing yarn to add a few small “side stitches” that tack the front and back of the limb’s upper edge securely to the body.
5. Facial Details:
- With White yarn, embroider small highlights on the outer edge of each eye.
- With a single strand of Black yarn, embroider small eyelashes and a subtle upper eyelid line.
- With Brown yarn, embroider the nose and mouth in a “Y” shape on the muzzle.
