Rnd 1: Starting in the 2nd ch from hook, work 5 sc down the chain. Work 3 sc in the last chain stitch. Rotate to work along the opposite side of the foundation chain: work 4 sc, inc in the last space (where the first sc was made). (14 sts) Do not join, continue in a spiral.
Rnd 2: sc in next 6 sts, inc, sc, inc, sc in next 5 sts (16)
Rnd 3 – Rnd 5 (3 rounds): sc in each st around (16)
Sl st into the next stitch to level off. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Do not stuff the ears. Flatten them.
Keychain Loop: (Using Pink Yarn)
Find the center top of the head (where the MR closure is). Attach pink yarn with a sl st.
Ch 8 (or desired length for the loop).
Sl st back into the same stitch where you attached the yarn.
Fasten off, leaving a tail. Use the starting and ending tails to securely sew the base of the loop to the head for reinforcement.
