sl st = slip stitch
BLO = back loop only
( )×n = repeat instructions in parentheses n times

Notes
- Keep tension firm so stuffing doesn’t show.
- Place a stitch marker at the first stitch of each round.
- Stuff as you go: head firm, body medium, limbs light for softness.
HEAD (with built-in neck start)
Yarn: off-white. Work in spiral.
- MR 6 sc. [6]
- inc×6. [12]
- (sc, inc)×6. [18]

- (4 sc, dec)×6. [30]
- (3 sc, dec)×6. [24]
- BLO sc around. [24] ← creates the tiny neck crease you see in the photo
Stuff head very firmly so it’s perfectly round.
BODY
Continue from Round 19.
- (3 sc, inc)×6. [30]
- sc around. [30]
- (4 sc, inc)×6. [36]
23–25. sc around. [36] - (5 sc, inc)×6. [42] ← gentle hip expansion

- (4 sc, dec)×6. [30]
- (3 sc, dec)×6. [24] ← crotch width before leg split
Lightly stuff torso (soft belly, no hard lumps). Add a touch more at the “booty” so it’s full like the photo.
SPLIT FOR LEGS
You have 24 sts. Each leg uses 12 sts.
First leg
- Round 1 (leg): sc in next 12 sts; skip the other 12; join to the first of these 12 to begin the round. [12]
- 2–3. sc around. [12]
- (2 sc, inc)×4. [16] ← tiny foot bulge
- sc around. [16]
- (2 sc, dec)×4. [12]
- (sc, dec)×4. [8]
- dec×4. [4]
FO, close neatly, weave in. Stuff the leg lightly as you go; keep the foot round.
Second leg Attach yarn to any unworked stitch from Round 31 to start the other 12-st circle.
- Repeat Rounds 1–8 of the first leg.
Use the tail to sew the tiny gap at the crotch closed with a couple of ladder stitches so the split looks crisp.
ARMS (make 2)
Worked from hand up; small rounded mitten shape.
- MR 6. [6]
- (sc, inc)×3. [9]
3–4. sc around. [9] - (sc, dec)×3. [6]
6–8. sc around. [6]
FO leaving a long tail to sew. Lightly stuff only the hand; leave the top soft so it sits flush.
Placement: Sew arms high on the torso, centered under the head crease, between Body Rounds 20–22, angled slightly downward—just like the photo.
TINY EARS (make 2)
These are small nubs, level with the eyes.
- MR, work 6 sc into ring, sl st to first sc. Tighten ring but do not close into a round—flatten the little disc. FO leaving a tail.
- Sew one ear on each side between Head Rounds 11–12, about 3 sts behind each eye. Take only 2–3 whip stitches so they sit as little bumps.
FACE
- Mouth: With black floss, make a small upward curve 1 round below the eyes, centered. One straight stitch ~3–4 sts wide, then tack the center down to curve it slightly.
- Optional: add faint blush with thread or pastel.
FINISHING
- Weave in all ends. Roll the piece in your hands to even out stuffing.
- If gifting to a child under 3, embroider eyes instead of safety eyes.
