Basic Materials:

Yarn: Wolans Bunny Baby (10041) – Brown, (10001) – White.
Hook: 3.5 mm
Safety Nose: 8 x 6 mm
Safety Eyes: 7.0-8.0 mm
Stuffing: Hollow fiber (polyfill)

Toy Size: Approximately 8.5 cm (when using a 3.5 mm hook)
Crochet Technique: “V-stitch” (usually refers to single crochet worked in the V of the previous stitch)

Abbreviations:

sc: single crochet
inc: increase (2 single crochet in one stitch)
dec: decrease (single crochet 2 together)
ch: chain stitch
sl st: slip stitch
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
Bobble: Bobble stitch (3 DC closed together) – Note: The pattern specifies “3 DC with a common vertex,” which is a common way to describe a 3-DC Bobble/Cluster stitch.

Pattern Instructions:

Ears (Make 2):

1. Crochet with brown yarn.
2. Before starting, leave a small tail of 5-7 cm.
3. Chain 7.
4. Starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, work: 4 hdc, 2 sc.
5. Chain 1, cut the yarn, leaving a small tail of 5-7 cm.
6. Tie the two tails into 1-2 knots, as you will need to crochet the ears into the body later (1 sc into the ear).

Body and Head:

Stuff the toy with hollow fiber (polyfill) as you go.
Begin crocheting with brown yarn.

Round 1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Round 2: (inc) x 4; Tail – Chain 3, starting from the 2nd chain from the hook, work 2 sl st; (inc) x 2 (12)
Round 3: In this round, we will crochet the lower paws, which need to be crocheted with white yarn.
Bobble (3 DC bobble), (inc) x 2, Bobble (3 DC bobble), 2 sc, inc, 1 sc (fold the tail back, do not work into it), 1 sc, inc, 2 sc (16)
Rounds 4-5: 16 sc (2 rounds)
Round 6: (2 sc, dec) x 4 (12)

Round 7: In this round, we will crochet the upper paws. When crocheting them, change the yarn to white. The paws should be at the same level as the lower paws. I will provide the pattern, based on my own crochet tension.
Bobble (3 DC bobble), 3 sc, Bobble (3 DC bobble), 7 sc (12)
Round 8: (2 sc, dec) x 3 (9)
Round 9: (inc) x 9 (18)
Round 10: In this round, we will crochet the muzzle. When crocheting it, change the yarn to white. The muzzle should be exactly in the middle of the front of the toy. To do this, find the 2 central stitches and crochet the muzzle into them.
4 sc, Bobble (4 DC bobble), Bobble (4 DC bobble), 12 sc (18)
Rounds 11-12: 18 sc (2 rounds)

At this stage, insert the safety nose and safety eyes.
The eyes are positioned between Row 11 and Row 12.

Round 13: In this round, we need to crochet in the ears. On the front part, find 10 stitches. We will crochet them into the 1st and 10th stitches. If necessary, work slip stitches to shift to the 1st stitch and place a marker.
Crochet the ears with the folded edges facing inward!

Round 14: (dec) x 6 (6)

Work a slip stitch into the next stitch, cut the yarn, leaving a tail.
Pull the ring tight to close.
