Size 6.5 mm (U.S. K or 10½) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

10 dc and 6 rows = 4 inches [10 cm].

Instructions

Note: Chain 3 at beginning of round counts as dc throughout.

Begin at center, with Contrast A, chain 5. Join with slip stitch to form ring.

1st round: Chain 2 (does not count as stitch). 12 half double crochet in ring. Join with slip stitch to first half double crochet. 12 half double crochet.

2nd round: Chain 1. 1 single crochet in same space as last slip stitch. 3 double crochet in next half double crochet. 1 single crochet in next half double crochet. Repeat this sequence around to last half double crochet. 3 half double crochet in last half double crochet. Join Contrast B with slip stitch to first single crochet.
