Finishing up the dress

1. Turn your work (so the wrong side is facing you). Insert the yarn into the top right corner ofthe dress (It is marked with a star on the previous page. In the picture, the right (correct) side is facing you. You need to turn it, so your starting point will be on the right side.) Ch 1, sc into the same stitch. Sc in all the remaining 35 stitches. (36) Ch 1, turn.
2. 36 sc (36) Ch 1, turn.

3. 6 sc, ch 12 (crochet tightly), skip the next 7 stitches, and start in the 8th: 10 sc, ch 12 (crochet tightly), skip the next 7 stitches, and start in the 8th: 6 sc. (46) Ch 1, turn.
4. 6 sc, 12 dc inc (crochet loosely), 10 hdc, 12 dc inc (crochet loosely), 6 sc. (70)
Cut the yarn and hide it.

Carrot applique

With orange cotton yarn and a 2 mm crochet hook:
1. Ch 7. From the second ch from the hook:
2. sl.st., 2 sc, 3 hdc. (Picture A)
Ch 1 (Picture B), then make a sl.st. itnto the same stitch where you placed your last hdc. (Picture C)
Cut the yarn and hide the tails.

The stem of the carrot

Insert the green yarn into the ch stitch at the top ofthe carrot. Still using the 2mm crochet hook:
1. Ch 4. Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 3 sl.st. Make a sl.st back into the carrot (where you started).
2. Ch 5. Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 4 sl.st. Make a sl.st back into the carrot.
3. Ch 4. Starting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 3 sl.st. Make a sl.st back into the carrot. Cut the yarn and hide the ends.

Crown

With orange cotton yarn and a 2,5 mm crochet hook:
1. Ch 16. Connect the chains with the first chain to form a circle:
2. Work in the back loops of your chains: sl.st., ch 1, sc into the same stitch, sc into the remaining 15 chains.
3.-5. Sl.st., ch 1, sc into the same stitch, sc into the remaining 15 stitches.
6. (Sl.st, skip 1, 2 dc into the same stitch, ch 3, sl.st. into the 1st stitch, 2 dc into the same stitch, skip one) repeat 4 times
Cut the yarn, but leave a tailfor sewing. Hide the starting tail.

Assembling the bunny

1.Sew the arms one round below the neck, on the sides ofthe body.
2. Sew the legs to the lower body, between the 5th and 6th rounds from the bottom. The distance between the two legs should be about 3 sc.
3. Sew the ears between the 6th and 5th rounds ofthe head, on both sides, slightly backwards so the ears can fall behind the arms.
4. Sew the crown to the top ofthe head.
5. Sew the carrot into the dress, on the center ofthe top, slightly diagonally, using a sewing thread.
6.Put the dress on the bunny and sew the middle ofthe back together.
