Easy Whimsical Carochet Rocking Horse Pattern

Materials You’ll Need:

  • YarnArt Jeans yarn (or similar sport weight/DK yarn) in your chosen colors

Head

Front Leg (Make 2)

These legs will be worked directly from the body. Stuff firmly.

  1. Row 1: From the body stitches, work 8 sc, skip 30 sc, then work 8 sc (effectively creating the leg opening by skipping stitches in the middle of the body). (16)

Back Leg (Make 2)

These legs will be worked directly from the body, similar to the front legs. Stuff firmly.

Mane

The mane is made in a series of textured chains.

Rocker

This is the base of your rocking horse. Stuff firmly as you go.

  4. Rows 4-24: 16 sc (21 rounds of single crochet)

Pull the opening tight. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly and Finishing Touches:
