Instructions
- Version 1: Green as Color 1, Purple as Color 2, Turquoise as Color 3
- Version 2: Turquoise as Color 1, Multi as Color 2, Purple as Color 3
Note: Do not join at the end of rounds. Work in continuous rounds (spiral). Move the marker up as each round is completed.
Sc2tog (Single Crochet Two Together)
Draw up a loop in each of the next 2 sc. Yoh and draw through all 3 loops on hook.

VERSION 1
Head
- Start with Color 1. Make a slip knot and chain 2.
- In the second chain from the hook, make 6 single crochet stitches (sc). Place a stitch marker here. Do not join the round.
- For round 2, make 2 sc in each stitch. You will now have 12 stitches.
- For rounds 3 and 4, make 1 sc in each stitch.
- In round 5, make 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches, then 2 sc in each of the next 6 stitches. Finish with 1 sc in the last 3 stitches. (18 stitches)
- In round 6, alternate between 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches and 2 sc in the following stitch. Continue around the round. (24 stitches)
- For rounds 7 to 12, make 1 sc in each stitch.
Face Features
Eyes (make 2)
- With Color 3, chain 2.
- In the second chain from the hook, make 6 sc. Join with a slip stitch and fasten off. Leave a long tail for sewing.
- Insert a safety eye in the center of each piece and sew the eyes in place.
Eyebrows (make 2)
- With Color 1, chain 7.
- Make 1 sc in the second chain from the hook and in each of the next 4 stitches. Slip stitch in the last chain. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Sew eyebrows above the eyes.
Crest for Top of Head (make 2)
- With Color 1, chain 2.
- In the second chain from the hook, make 5 sc. Turn your work. (5 stitches)
- Chain 1, then make 2 sc in each stitch. Turn your work. (10 stitches)
- Chain 1. Alternate between 1 sc in one stitch and 2 sc in the next. Continue across the row. Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
- With the wrong sides facing each other, sew the two pieces together. Attach to the top of the head.

Body and Tail
- With Color 1, chain 2.
- In the second chain from the hook, make 6 sc. (6 stitches)
- In round 2, make 2 sc in each stitch. (12 stitches)
- In round 3, alternate between 1 sc in the first stitch and 2 sc in the next. Continue around. (18 stitches)
- In round 4, alternate between 1 sc in each of the next 2 stitches and 2 sc in the following stitch. Continue around. (24 stitches)
- For round 5, make 1 sc in each stitch.
- In round 6, alternate between 1 sc in each of the next 3 stitches and 2 sc in the following stitch. Continue around. (30 stitches)
- Continue crocheting as follows:
- Rounds 7 to 9: Make 1 sc in each stitch. Change to Color 2 at the end of round 9.
- Rounds 10 and 11: Make 1 sc in each stitch. Change to Color 1 at the end of round 11.
- Rounds 12 and 13: Make 1 sc in each stitch. Change to Color 2 at the end of round 13.
- Rounds 14 to 17: Repeat the pattern from rounds 10 to 13.
- Rounds 18 and 19: Repeat rounds 10 and 11. Fasten off Color 1.
- Continue decreasing and shaping the tail, stuffing the body as you go:
- Round 20: With Color 2, make 1 sc in each stitch.
- Round 21: (sc2tog) 3 times, 1 sc in each of the next 18 stitches, (sc2tog) 3 times. (24 stitches)
- Round 22: (sc2tog) 3 times, 1 sc in each of the next 12 stitches, (sc2tog) 3 times. (18 stitches)
- Continue decreasing until the tail tapers. Fasten off and secure the yarn tightly.
Legs (make 4)
- With Color 1, chain 2.
- In the second chain from the hook, make 6 sc. (6 stitches)
- For rounds 2 to 6, make 1 sc in each stitch.
- Stuff the legs lightly.
- Flatten the top of the leg. Working through both sides, make 3 sc across the top.
- For toes, chain 3, then make 1 sc in the second chain from the hook and 1 sc in the next chain. Slip stitch to the next stitch in the folded top. Repeat this for all toes.
- Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing. Attach the legs, sew the head to the body, and secure the tail in a curled position.

VERSION 2
Follow the same instructions as Version 1, but make the entire body and tail using Color 2 only.
