Materials

  • Artland Fiesta yarn (50 gr/100 m) – milky № 62 (for the bud)
  • YarnArt Jeans yarn (50 gr/160 m) – green № 69 (for the stem and leaves)
  • Filler (holofiber)
  • Hook № 2.5
  • Ordinary sewing thread to match
  • Needle with a wide eye
  • Pins
  • Scissors

Using these materials, the tulip will be approximately 21 cm tall. You can use any other yarn, but adjust your hook size accordingly.

Abbreviations

  • MR – magic ring
  • sc – single crochet
  • CH – chain stitch
  • inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
  • dec – decrease (single crochet two stitches together)
  • sl st – slip stitch
  • (…)* – repeat what is in parentheses the specified number of times
  • (number) – number of stitches in the row
  • 3-inc – 3 sc in one stitch
  • 3-dec – 3 sc crochet together
  • bl – back loop

Instructions

Bud

Knit with milk-colored yarn, behind the back loops, in turning rows, crocheting 1 ch at the end of each row.

  1. Chain 16 ch, leaving a small end of thread from the beginning of knitting for sewing the bud from below.
  2. From the second loop: 2 sl st, 10 sc, 3 sl st (15)
  3. 3 sl st, 10 sc, 2 sl st (15)
  4. 2 sl st, 10 sc, 3 sl st (15)

Continue alternating rows 3 and 4 until the 26th row. Cut the thread, leaving a long end for sewing.

Bud Instructions

The size of the part is about 9 cm long and 6 cm high. The number of rows may vary depending on your knitting density.

Assembly:

  1. Assemble the part from below with the thread left from the beginning of knitting. Tighten the thread, secure, and hide inside.
  2. Sew the part on the side.
  3. Fill the resulting bud with a little filler.

Two options for the top of the tulip are possible:

Option 1: Gather around the top, stepping back a little, tighten, and secure.

Option 2: Sew the top crosswise.

Bud Top Options

Stem

Knit with green yarn in a spiral, without chain stitches. Tightly fill the part with filler as you knit.

  1. 6 sc in MR (6)
  2. (1 sc, inc)*3 (9)
  3. bl 9 sc (9)
  4. Rows 4 – 42: 9 sc (9)
  5. 43. 9 inc (18)

Secure the thread, cut, and hide inside of the part.

Assembly:

  1. Fix the bud to the stem with pins.
  2. Sew with ordinary sewing thread around the circle.
  3. Secure the thread, cut and hide inside the part.

Leaves

Knit with green yarn, behind the back loops, in turning rows, crocheting 1 ch at the end of each row. Two parts for one tulip.

  2. From the second loop: 30 sc (30)
  3. 29 sc, 3-inc (32)
  4. 3-inc, 31 sc (34)
  5. 33 sc, 3-inc (36)
  6. 3-dec, 33 sc (34)
  7. 31 sc, 3-dec (32)
  8. 3-dec, 29 sc (30)

Secure the thread, cut, leaving a small end for sewing. Knit the second leaf similarly.

Assembly:

  1. Wrap the stem with a leaf, tie a knot with the remaining ends of the threads.
  2. Attach the second leaf symmetrically, tie a knot.
  3. Sew the leaves to the stem and to each other.
  4. Secure the threads and hide inside the stem.

Scarf

Scarf Instructions

Chain a chain of ch. Try on either a vase or around the bouquet in two folds.

From the second loop from the hook, knit the required number of sc along the chain. Repeat another row.

Sew both edges, secure the thread, cut off.

Heart

Heart Instructions

Knit the first half. Chain 2 ch.

  1. Into the second loop from the hook 6 sc (6)
  2. 6 inc (12)
  3. 12 sc (12)
Heart Instructions

Secure the thread and cut off.

Knit the second half similarly.

Continue knitting, connecting two halves.

  1. 12 sc along the first, 12 sc along the second (24)

Tighten the hole, bring this thread between two halves and tighten the hole between them. Secure the thread, cut off, hide inside the heart.

Do not stuff the heart.

Sew to the scarf with ordinary sewing thread. Secure the thread, cut off and hide inside the heart.
