Materials You’ll Need:

- Gray (color code: 8797)
- Beige (color code: 7650)

Muzzle (Using Beige Yarn)
- Row 1: Chain 8. Starting from the 2nd chain from hook, work 6 sc. Then, make 3 sc in the next (last) stitch. Continue on the other side of the chain: 5 sc, followed by 1 inc. [16 stitches]
- Row 2: 1 inc, 5 sc, 3 inc, 5 sc, 2 inc. [22 stitches]
- Row 3: 22 sc. [22 stitches]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Using brown embroidery floss, carefully embroider the nose and mouth onto the muzzle. Set aside for now.
Body/Head (Using Brown Yarn)
- Row 1: 6 sc in a Magic Ring. [6 stitches]
- Row 2: 6 inc. [12 stitches]
- Row 3: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeated 6 times. [18 stitches]
- Row 4: (2 sc, 1 inc) repeated 6 times. [24 stitches]
- Row 5: (3 sc, 1 inc) repeated 6 times. [30 stitches]
- Row 6: (4 sc, 1 inc) repeated 6 times. [36 stitches]

- Rows 23 – 24: 42 sc (brown). [42 stitches]
- Row 25: (5 sc, 1 dec) repeated 6 times. [36 stitches]
Now it’s time to add Nestor’s face!

- Place the safety eyes: Insert the 8mm safety eyes between rows 23 and 24, leaving 6 stitches visible between them. Secure them from the inside.
- Sew the muzzle: Using the long tail you left, sew the beige muzzle below the eyes, centering it as shown in the photo.
- Make the tooth: Take your white yarn, chain 3. Work 2 sc into the chain. Fasten off and leave a tail. Sew this little tooth to the bottom of the muzzle.
- Row 26: (4 sc, 1 dec) repeated 6 times. [30 stitches]
- Row 27: 30 sc. [30 stitches]
Start stuffing the head firmly with fiberfill. Continue to stuff as you go.
- Row 28: (3 sc, 1 dec) repeated 6 times. [24 stitches]
- Row 29: (2 sc, 1 dec) repeated 6 times. [18 stitches]
- Row 30: (1 sc, 1 dec) repeated 6 times. [12 stitches]

Add any final stuffing needed to shape the head and body nicely. Fasten off, weave the tail through the remaining stitches, pull tight to close, and hide the end.
Ears (Make 2, Using Brown Yarn)
- Row 1: 6 sc in a Magic Ring. [6 stitches]
- Row 2: (1 sc, 1 inc) repeated 3 times. [9 stitches]
- Row 3: 9 sc. [9 stitches]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Pinch the bottom of the ear to flatten it slightly. Sew the ears to the head between rows 4 and 5 (counting from the top down).
Foot (Make 2, Using Gray Yarn)
- Row 1: Chain 5. Starting from the 2nd chain from hook, make 3 sc. Then, make 3 sc in the next (last) stitch. Continue on the other side of the chain: 2 sc, followed by 1 inc. [10 stitches]
- Row 2: 1 inc, 2 sc, (working into the **front loop only**, make 3 sc in the next stitch), 1 sc, (working into the **front loop only**, make 3 sc in the next stitch), 2 sc, 1 inc, 1 sc. [16 stitches]
- Row 3: 5 sc, (working into the **front loop only**, make 3 sc in the next stitch), 3 sc, (working into the **front loop only**, make 3 sc in the next stitch), 6 sc. [20 stitches]
Change yarn to Brown.
- Row 4: 20 sl st (slip stitches) working into the **back loop only**. [20 stitches]
- Row 5: 20 sc working into the **back loop only**. [20 stitches]

- Row 7: 16 sc. [16 stitches]
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. Place a tiny amount of stuffing into each foot. Sew the feet to the bottom of the body, around row 6.
Arms (Make 2, Using Gray Yarn)
- Row 1: Chain 4. Starting from the 2nd chain from hook, make 2 sc. Then, make 3 sc in the next (last) stitch. Continue on the other side of the chain: 1 sc, followed by 1 inc. [8 stitches]
- Rows 2 – 3: 8 sc. [8 stitches]
Change yarn to Brown.
- Row 4: 8 sl st (slip stitches) working into the **back loop only**. [8 stitches]
- Row 5: 8 sc working into the **back loop only**. [8 stitches]
- Rows 6 – 10: 8 sc. [8 stitches]
Fasten off. Pinch the opening of the arm flat and make 4 sc across both layers to close the top. Leave a tail for sewing. Sew the arms to the sides of the body, just below the head.
Tail (Using Gray Yarn)

- Rows 2 – 7: 18 sc. [18 stitches]

- Rows 9 – 15: 15 sc. [15 stitches]
Fasten off. Pinch the opening of the tail flat and make 7 sc across both layers to close the top. Leave a long tail for sewing. Sew the tail to the bottom of the beaver’s body.
