Grim Reaper Amigurumi Crochet Pattern

Designed for beginners–intermediate level

Materials

  • Yarn: Five-strand milk cotton in the following colors:
    • Black (hood, body, part of arms)
    • White (head, part of arms)
    • Brown (scythe handle)
    • Light gray (scythe blade)
  • Hook: Size 0.7 mm (or size appropriate for your yarn)
  • Yarn needle for sewing pieces
  • Fiberfill stuffing
  • Safety eyes or black embroidery thread for eyes
  • Black embroidery thread for mouth details

Note: The black yarn used in the example is slightly thicker, which makes the hood stiffer.

Do not stuff. Place the hood over the head, adjust for fit, and sew lightly at the base.

Arms (make 2 – start white, switch to black)

Fasten off and sew blade onto scythe handle.

Assembly

  1. Sew head securely onto body.
  2. Place hood on the head, stitch in place if desired.
  3. Sew arms to sides of body.
  4. Attach scythe to one arm, then sew blade to handle.
  5. Embroider eyes and mouth (or use safety eyes + embroidery for mouth).

🎃 Finished Size: Depends on yarn and hook used, but approx. 15–20 cm tall.
